Party Room C, The Crossings Intercontinual Worldgating Facility, Tuesday Evening [Fandom Time]

It had taken a little bit of work, but with one of his best friends being responsible for the Crossings, Ronan had managed to not only reserve a room, but also to arrange transportation to the Crossings for all of his friends who wanted to come by -- without needing to negotiate Portalocity.

(It had cost him a pretty penny, but it wasn't like he was spending his money on much of anything else lately; even when not on errantry, wizards were popular through-out most of the universe.)

So, here Ronan was, waiting for people to show up as he arranged the last few nibbly foods on one of the side tables. It wasn't every day that a guy turned twenty, after all.


[So I completely flaked and forgot to email invites out to everyone. Oops? If you think you'd have gotten one, you probably got one; Ronan sent them out to pretty much everyone he's ever known at Fandom High.

[Up early for timezones and SP and suchlike.]

Isabel happily moved in for a hug. "Nope, same time zone. So I'll be interrupting the cranky demon's beauty sleep. I'm busy. But I promise I'll do better at calling to fill you in on all the wild and crazy happenings in Vegas."

"There's always email," Anders reminded her, "and I'll try to do better at that too."

He rolled his eyes mildly. "It's been a little nuts in the hotel this past week. Everybody's still getting over being other people the other weekend. I've mostly been staying out of everyone's way."

"That happened already?" she asked. "Oh thank god we didn't get hit with it. I'm not sure I could have dealt with another visit from Fork the Vampire."

"I'm almost afraid to ask. What happened? Who turned into what and traumatized people?"

"Some insane version of Fandom that was overrun by vampires," Anders said, shrugging. He frowned slightly, clearly trying not to let it get to him all that much, but the fact that he wasn't willing to divulge more details was a hint that it hadn't been fun. "I haven't exactly been asking. Not sure I want to know."

Isabel frowned, "I'd heard about that place. Savannah wound up there last summer. The little bit she told me...yeah, not a happy place. But everyone is okay? Or at least they will be?" If the usual Fandom resilience-denial kicked in.

"I think things are getting back to normal." Anders frowned back, and just for good measure -- because it was unsettling -- went for another hug.
