Party Room C, The Crossings Intercontinual Worldgating Facility, Tuesday Evening [Fandom Time]

It had taken a little bit of work, but with one of his best friends being responsible for the Crossings, Ronan had managed to not only reserve a room, but also to arrange transportation to the Crossings for all of his friends who wanted to come by -- without needing to negotiate Portalocity.

(It had cost him a pretty penny, but it wasn't like he was spending his money on much of anything else lately; even when not on errantry, wizards were popular through-out most of the universe.)

So, here Ronan was, waiting for people to show up as he arranged the last few nibbly foods on one of the side tables. It wasn't every day that a guy turned twenty, after all.


[So I completely flaked and forgot to email invites out to everyone. Oops? If you think you'd have gotten one, you probably got one; Ronan sent them out to pretty much everyone he's ever known at Fandom High.

[Up early for timezones and SP and suchlike.]

Carmela had not received an email, no.

Mostly because she would've hit Ronan upside the head if he'd decided to inform her via email that he was hosting a party at her place of employment.

Which of course meant she had no other option but to turn up. It was such a hardship, really.

Hoshi grinned when she spotted Carmela and made her way across the room. "It feels like I was just visiting you yesterday!" she said.

Jack wasn't a close friend of Ronan's, but he'd given Jack such a nice welcome to Fandom that going to his birthday party hardly counted as a hardship. So he was there on time and smarty dressed, and grazed on the buffet as he watched the other guests.

Sure, why not? It was a chance to get away for a little while; Katchoo might love her routine, but a break in it wasn't a bad thing. Feel honored, Ronan; she didn't do this for most people.

The showing up for the party part, not the tossing grape tomatoes into the air and catching them in her mouth part. That part was more a matter of nyeah nyeah, I don't have to behave myself at a party than anything else.

Hannibal didn't have anything else going on so taking a trip through a portal to a party was a nice way to fix that. He hadn't seen Ronan in awhile but that didn't matter. Parties were parties and Ronan was still a friend.

Hoshi was thrilled to get away from Fandom for a couple of days. The fact that she got to see Ronan again was just icing on the cake.

But she was also feeling just a little bit guilty for taking off without talking to Hurley after running out on him last Friday.

Wyatt and Isabel were there, but Wyatt was not planning on giving Ronan a threesome for his birthday.

If kisses were being offered, Isabel was going to grab a hug as well. "Two weeks till Spring Break. I'm counting the days. I've even managed to get a few days off in a row. Maybe we can do something fun?"

Isabel was supposed to be in her management class at the moment. Fortunately one of her classmates was willing to take notes for her. She'd much rather be with friend.

She got herself a drink at the buffet and looked to see who else was around.

Parker was eating something fried, she was barely awake enough to know what. "Hey. Are these mushrooms or zucchini?"

No, Parker. Those are alien bits of something.

"It's good to see you," he said. "I was thinking about looking for you at the theater."

Tony smiled at Jack's approach, then frowned slightly. "Everything okay? Or did you just miss my company?"

As if Anders was missing out on this? You didn't go through some of the crazy-ass stuff you had with a guy like Ronan (not that kind of crazy-ass stuff even though it would be pretty, thanks) and miss out on his birthday party.

And like any good Cylon boy would do, he made a beeline straight for the food and started to scarf it down.

This place was kind of nuts. But in a cool way.

Leto had seen no reason to ignore the invitation. He liked Ronan, even if they hadn't been close (except very temporarily, but nevermind), and visiting a place like this would always be interesting

Parker had exactly two hours and fifteen minutes to be here. That was it. Then she had to go back and give another presentation on the Chinese economy in Taiwan in Mandarin.

Her life sucked. Luckily there was chocolate and a Ronan guy to congratulate.
