Party Room C, The Crossings Intercontinual Worldgating Facility, Tuesday Evening [Fandom Time]

It had taken a little bit of work, but with one of his best friends being responsible for the Crossings, Ronan had managed to not only reserve a room, but also to arrange transportation to the Crossings for all of his friends who wanted to come by -- without needing to negotiate Portalocity.

(It had cost him a pretty penny, but it wasn't like he was spending his money on much of anything else lately; even when not on errantry, wizards were popular through-out most of the universe.)

So, here Ronan was, waiting for people to show up as he arranged the last few nibbly foods on one of the side tables. It wasn't every day that a guy turned twenty, after all.

[So I completely flaked and forgot to email invites out to everyone. Oops? If you think you'd have gotten one, you probably got one; Ronan sent them out to pretty much everyone he's ever known at Fandom High.

Wyatt and Isabel were there, but Wyatt was not planning on giving Ronan a threesome for his birthday.

"This is much better then being in class," Isabel observed once she'd taken a look around the room. "Much, much better."

"Much," Wyatt agreed, giving her a quick kiss. "I'm starting to dream of vanquishing textbooks. That can't be good."

If kisses were being offered, Isabel was going to grab a hug as well. "Two weeks till Spring Break. I'm counting the days. I've even managed to get a few days off in a row. Maybe we can do something fun?"

"Somewhere with no demons and no events to organize?" Wyatt suggested hopefully. He could use some quality Isabel time.

"That sounds just perfect," she agreed. "I'll even turn off my phone." Because otherwise she was pretty sure her boss would be calling to ask her to cover some extra shifts.

"I'll orb anyone who tries to call to Timbuktu," Wyatt said. "It should be just you, me, a secluded beach...carefully applied sunscreen...."

"You mean you don't want to go to Cancun with several thousand other college students and drink yourself senseless?" Isabel teased.

"I'm too old and mature for something like that anymore," Wyatt snickered.

"But not so old and mature that you'd turn down skinny dipping on a warm beach somewhere. Good to know," she said. "I'll pack the sunscreen."

"Or you can just count on me to heal any sensitive areas that get too much sun," Wyatt offered. Never let it be said he didn't think up tawdry uses for the tingling touch.

Isabel snickered. "You're dancing pretty close to the personal gain line there."

"But it's for your gain, not mine," Wyatt said, oh-so-innocently.

"And you're not going to get an ounce of enjoyment out of it is what you're saying?" she asked, eyebrow raised.

"Not one bit," Wyatt said, barely managing to keep a straight face before he grinned and kissed her again.
