Nolan Home for Wayward Refugees, 33 Apocalypse, Saturday Morning

Ronan knew full well what day it was. In fact, he'd made sure to get up early and start cooking, just in case. Hey, if he didn't have any kids show up, he could always share the food with kids of people who had.

Anyone walking by 33 Apocalypse on Saturday morning, though, would see a new sign affixed near the front door:

Nolan Home for Wayward Refugees

Scrawled underneath was:

and Temporally Displaced Children
All Welcome

Anyone hungry? There's bacon, eggs, sausage, toast, fried potatoes, fried tomatoes, and waffles. Lots and lots of waffles. And, with the open door, the scent was probably drifting out into the street.

[Open for Ronan's kids, visitors, other people's kids, and anyone else who wants some breakfast.]

"Good!" Katrina wandered in and beamed at him before giving him a hug. "Bet you didn't expect to see me again when I didn't show up last year, hmmm?"

She handed him some flowers she'd gotten from the side of the road. "Feeeeeed me. I just got back from Crossings and then the portal diverted me here."

"Of course! Baby brothers!" Katrina gave him a suspicious look. "You didn't get any more daughters though, did you?" Someone was going to have to pout a bit, if so.

"Hmmph." That was a very Parker look that the younger girl was getting there. Very. "How old is she? And who's her mom?" Betty Jr. was being completely ignored here. Wizard Katrina might be, but possessiveness was still something she fought with.

Katrina blinked, but gave him a much less Bzuh?! look than her mother would've given him. "Hunh," she said, thoughtful. Her mom was still the prettiest, then. And probably still the scariest. "Well. I suppose she can stay." She smirked at him. "Is she a wizard too? Like us?"
