There were a lot of spells Ronan could use without half-thinking -- as many for combat as for healing, despite where his talents now mostly lay -- but enough of those were... decisive... that he'd spent some time preparing some new ones for this bout, instead.

Kaidan had said that his biotic abilities revolved around manipulating mass and gravity, so Ronan decided to open with something along those same lines, dropping one spell circle, ready to cast, at his feet while using another prepared one to tell the gravity under Kaidan to be half as strong as it had been.
