Ronan had finally gotten his internet connection to properly interface with the online Manual functions, which meant that he could send emails directly to any of his other wizard friends through their Manuals. This was considerably easier than trying to fight with the messaging functions in the Knowledge, as it was really not designed for some of the newer Manual functions.
Also, his iTunes was up and working again, which meant music. He'd already taken advantage of being temporally displaced by a year to check out some of the new artists available, and had come across a wonderful singer by the name of Mika.

He leaned back in his chair and turned his music up a bit -- not blasting, but it wasn't exactly quiet, either. The door was open.
