Ronan and Seregil's Bed, Room 8, Mexico, Wednesday Night

The privacy field -- something he'd not had to cast, really, since the previous summer; two summers, in fact, for Ronan, given that extra year -- was set around the bed, giving them a bit of clearance on either side and going to the ceiling above them. From the inside, it was a faint shimmer, clearly visible but not really obstructing the vision of what lay outside (although that could be changed as desired), although from the outside it would be both shimmery and opaque, and block all sound coming from inside.

Convenient, that, when sharing a room with other people.

Ronan shrugged out of his shirt and pants, leaving himself in his boxers; he figured that if nothing else, it would enough, and comfortable enough, to sleep in, even though he expected that they wouldn't be staying on all that long.

Seregil was taking a closer look at the barrier. "That's so impressive."

"Thanks," Ronan said, smiling, as he sat on the bed. "It's actually fairly simple, as shielding spells go. Just kind of a... twisting. It's a little hard to describe."

Seregil looked over his shoulder at Ronan with a teasing smile. "You'll have to tell me more about it." The smile widened. "Later."

"Later is good," Ronan said, stretching a bit, his arms above his head. "But what do you have in mind to keep us occupied now?"

"I can think of a few things," Seregil said, pulling his shirt over his head.

"Oh? Like what?" Ronan asked, grinning, leaning forward, raising one eyebrow.

"Well," Seregil said, sitting beside Ronan and leaning close. "We could pick up where we left off earlier."

Leaning in even closer, Ronan grinned. "Yeah?" he asked. "And where was that? You may have to remind me."

"I'm sure I can come up with a few things to jog your memory," Seregil told him. "Among... other things."

Ronan's hand came up to Seregil's cheek as he leaned in even further, his lips almost brushing against Seregil's as he said, "I think maybe I'm starting to remember..."
