Room 507, Saturday Evening

Ronan led Bolton to his room from the gym, closing the door behind him. "Feel free to sit anywhere," he said. "I just need to find something, then I can finish healing your arm."

"What? Oh, that's this country," Ronan said. "America. I'm from a different country, so I've got different slang, and I'm still learning the 'local' stuff."

"I did notice you kind of talked differently," he said with a slight grin. "I like it; it sounds cool."

Ronan blushed, just slightly. "Thanks," he said. "I, uh. Yeah. Thanks."

He nodded. "No problem. So..." Starting to feel a bit more comfortable, he drew up his leg, wrapping his arms around it as he leaned forward to place his chin on his knee and grinned over at his new savior for catching up to speed. "Okay. Anything else I should know? I was in my room all day, and then the gym, so you're actually the only person I've talked to since this happened. And you have your memory. Man, it really does suck that we didn't know each other."

Ronan nodded. "I wish I could tell you more," he said. "If you want, we could go and try to find someone who knows you? Although from the looks of that spell, there probably aren't very many people with their memories."

"That's pretty lame," he, being always so deep no matter what the situation, pouted a little, but it was only there for a little while before he grinned again. "I really am glad, though, that I did run into you. Worth the broken arm. Helps that you could fix it, though, I'll admit. Can't say I'd feel so grateful if not."

"Even grateful for telling you about Fandom craziness and glitter?" Ronan grinned. "That's pretty grateful," he added. "I wonder what I should get you to do to repay me?"

Letting out a slight, almost nervous kind of laugh, his hand ducked behind his head as it lowered against a blush. There was...he felt bad for thinking it because this guy had been so awesome in helping him, but that sounded almost like a come on. "Um, well...I don't really know. Only thing I even think I'm good at is basketball, and even that seems to have maybe been wrong, considering my performance..."

Ronan hadn't realised how what he'd said could be taken until just after he'd said it, and regretted it almost immediately -- but at least it seemed like Bolton hadn't taken it that way? "Oh, I really don't mean that," he said. "You don't need to repay me at all, I was just joking around."

"No, I should," he decided after another moment of thought. "Eventually. When I get things a little more figured out, I think..."

"When your memory comes back?" Ronan said, grinning. "Regardless, you don't need to."

He nodded, firmly. "Right. When my memory comes back. Assuming," he grinned, "that I remember."

Ronan rolled his eyes. "Right," he said. "Assuming you remember."

He hesitated a moment before his next question. "Do you, ah, need a place to stay? Or do you remember wher eyour room is?"

"Made sure to remember," he answered with a nod. "Room 402. Of course, I don't know where I am in proximity to that. Took me forever to even find that gym."

"I can show you where it is, if you'd like," Ronan said. "Or... if you'd rather, you could stay here tonight. I don't have a roommate, so you can use the other bed, and... it would, uh, give me an opportunity to keep an eye on your arm. Make sure I fixed everything with the wizardry." Not that he was making up a bullshit excuse to keep him around, or anything.

"You wouldn't mind?"

He was...comfortable here. He didn't have that whole feeling of confusion hovering over his head like there had been all day. His room, with all the stuff he wasn't sure was his or his roommates or anything, would just bring that all right back. He didn't have to worry about that here...

Ronan shook his head, although there was definitely a part of himself screaming, Bad idea! Bad! BAD! He silenced the voice, firmly, and said, "No, I don't mind at all. I wouldn't have offered if I did." He smiled, and waved his hand vaguely. "Mi casa es su casa."

"Awesome," he said, deciding maybe just not to ask about that last part; it was probably more weird magic speak anyway. "Thanks, man."

"Not a problem." He grinned. "It's getting kinda late, I guess," he added. "Ready for bed yet, or...?"

It had been a long day. Probably...he assumed...it wasn't every day that you lost your memory and broke your arm and had a magician heal it, so sleep could be doable. However...

"Or what?"

"Nothing specific," Ronan replied. Not that he was going to say, anyway. "Just wondering if you were ready for bed, or if you wanted to... I dunno. If you weren't ready for bed."

"Don't know what else we'd do," he laughed a little. "Don't really know anything right now..."

Ronan told himself he wasn't going to say it. Then he told himself again. A third time, for good measure.

"Well, there's always sex."

... Dammit.

His eyes immediately got bigger; if he were drinking something, he would have choked on it. Currently, Bolton seemed pretty damn close to choking on just air at the moment still.

He coughed. "Well, uh, yeah, I, uh...I guess, yeah, there's that, but, uhh, whoa, there. No offense, but we just met. I mean, hell, I just kind of met myself, even, so, uh...yeah..."

That had to be a joke anyway, right?
